Recently, Helius New Energy Co., Ltd., with its professional operation & maintenance team and advanced operation & maintenance strategy, successfully won the bid for "Turpan CSP + PV integrated project production operation and maintenance service project" of China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd!
The project is the first large-scale, base-level new energy project invested by China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd. Located in Qiketai Town, Shanshan County, Turpan City, Xinjiang Province, the project involves a total investment of 6 billion yuan, and features an advanced renewable energy generation system that integrates photovoltaic (PV) technology with concentrated solar power (CSP) and molten salt energy storage. Upon completion, the project is expected to save approximately 660,000 tons of standard coal annually, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by around 1.58 million tons, and deliver an average of 2 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity to the grid each year, which will effectively alleviate the power shortage in Xinjiang, meet the electricity demands of local industries and residents, and play a vital role in promoting economic development in the Turpan region and driving high-quality growth across Xinjiang.
With this achievement, Helius New Energy Co., Ltd. has reached a cumulative total of 460MW in installed capacity across CSP Station projects it has undertaken and operated.
