Recently, the annual commendation meeting of the EPC General Contracting Project Department of State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC) was held for the 100MW CSP Project in Qiketai Town, Shanshan County, Turpan City, Xinjiang (hereinafter referred to as the “Shanshan 100MW CSP Project”). The O&M team of Helius New Energy Co., Ltd. was awarded multiple honors for their outstanding performance in their positions.

The O&M team of Helius New Energy Co., Ltd. represents the construction company in managing the operations of the Shanshan 100MW CSP Project, specifically undertaking the production, operations and maintenance of the plant. Currently, the project has entered the partial commissioning stage, with some high-voltage distribution systems already in the custody phase. The project is scheduled to start up and connect to the grid in April.
The Shanshan 100MW CSP Project is an important part of the 1GW Integrated Project of SPIC in Shanshan County, Xinjiang. The integrated project covers a total area of approximately 1,943.76 hm2, with an elevation ranging from 834 meters to 1,022 meters. It adopts a co-location arrangement of CSP + photovoltaic power, with a total approved installed capacity of 1,000MW. Specifically, the photovoltaic project has an AC capacity of 900MW, while the CSP project has a capacity of 100MW and a heat storage duration of 12 hours. The project is of great significance in promoting the clean energy transition, enhancing the stability of energy supply, and driving local economic growth and industrial upgrading.
